Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26 January to commemorate the date and moment when the Constitution of India came into effect.

     In the beautiful morning of January 26^th  , 2013, 64^th Republic day celebrated with resonance of melodious patriotic songs at Auditorium, JAU Campus. Dr NC Patel, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor unfurled the National Flag followed by rejoicing National Anthem. In his ceremonial speech, Dr NC Patel remembered Gandhiji for his words  “we have achieved political freedom, we have yet to gain economical freedom”. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of scientists for development of agriculture. At the same , he asked the gathering of staff and students to bring more qualitative and quantitative change in agriculture. The program concluded with smiling face and sweetened mouth.  The Vice chancellor met personally to scientists and students and conveyed good wishes on this  auspicious national event.
